The two methods in which you can receive Reiki Healing are treatments and training. Once a treatment is experienced the desire to have this restorative skill for oneself often manifests. In First Degree Reiki Class you learn how to heal yourself in addition to treating people and animals by providing professional Hands-on treatments. Some wish to enhance their Reiki practice by attending Second Degree Reiki Class. This second level of training is where you learn to administer Distant Reiki Treatments as well as amplify the strength of Hands-on sessions.
Reiki was created by Dr. Mikao Usui in Japan in the late 1800’s. This traditional form of Reiki is called Usui Shiki Ryoho. In 1936 Reiki was “entrusted” to the western world from Japan by the Second Grand Master of Reiki Dr. Chujiro Hayashi. Seattle City Reiki proudly teaches and treats in the authentic Usui Shiki Ryoho method. Individuals of all cultures, ages and spiritual backgrounds can benefit from Reiki Healing Energy, as Reiki encourages us along our natural evolutionary path.
