About Diane

Reiki Master Diane Larson has devoted her life to the integrative field of Energy Medicine, treating a multitude of chronic and acute conditions from Cancer to Crohn’s, Anxiety to Addictions, Insomnia to Imbalances, Pain to Recovery from Surgical procedures and most everything in between. Assisting individuals to heal on the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual levels since 2006 has been an ongoing passion of hers. From 2014 to 2024 Diane was the Reiki Master on staff at

Meridian Medicine invited by the doctors to join their team of medical professionals.

Diane combines her 10 years of clinical experience working alongside the Doctors at Meridian Medicine with her devotion to the Sacred responsibility of Reiki Mastery. Imparting the consciousness-elevating energy of Source, creating powerfully healing Distant Reiki Treatments.

As a member of The Reiki Alliance, she is committed to maintaining the founding principles of Usui Shiki Ryoho. This international organization of Reiki Masters practice the original method of Reiki from Japan that was “entrusted” to the western world from Dr. Chujiro Hayashi in 1936. Alliance members are guided by professional standards and a strict code of ethics. Diane's Reiki lineage dates back to one of the 22 Reiki Masters Mrs. Hawayo Takata trained and initiated.

Diane is an ordained interfaith non-denominational minister with the Universal Brotherhood Movement. She honors the sacred spiritual aspect of Reiki Healing.

~My Story~

I was living in Maui when Reiki came into my life. Feeling called to attend a First Degree Reiki Class in 2006 while I was reading the course description in the Maui Community College catalog. I never heard of Reiki, yet I instinctively knew I needed to register for the training. I was in awe at the healing energy emanating from my hands that first day in class during my self treatment and wanted to go deeper into this incredible new modality I was learning. Four months later I attended Second Degree training and was amazed, to say the least, to realize I could send Distant Reiki Treatments from afar. A few months later I opened a Reiki Practice and fell in love with being able to help people and animals heal mentally, emotionally, physically and spiritually.

Through deep self reflection I was guided to be ordained as an interfaith non-denominational minister. In the Autumn of 2010 while receiving my ordination at sacred Iao Valley in Maui I felt the profound and undeniable Spiritual Calling to train as a Reiki Master. I was accepted, by my Reiki Master Shalandra Abbey, as a Reiki Master Candidate for the minimum of one year training. I quit my full time job of 12 years at the Ritz Carlton Kapalua, paid my $10,000 in tuition and worked rigorously one on one with Shalandra. After a year and a half training, in May of 2011, I was initiated as a Reiki Master in Iao Valley.

Since then, I've been a full-time Reiki Master, treating and teaching this Sacred gift of energy healing. I moved back to Seattle in 2012 resuming my practice I now call Seattle City Reiki. It is with immense gratitude I happily work to spread the healing energy of Source to all, incorporating Reiki into every aspect of my life. I aim to always grow and develop in my mastery, anchoring in the knowledge that to truly be a good Reiki Master one must live Reiki and the Spiritual Precepts every day.
